The Saudi stock market index closed higher on Monday, with the main index (TASI) ending the session up by approximately 34.87 points to reach 11,104.69 points. The trading volume today was about 401.5 million shares, valued at approximately 6.4 billion Saudi riyals, executed through 499.1 thousand transactions.

Regarding Saudi stock trades today, shares of Al-Majed for Oud, Sal, Riyadh Cables, Al-Mawarid, and Astra Industrial were among the highest gainers during the transactions, while shares of United International Holding, Al-Zamil Industrial, Nayifat, National Education, and Saudi Electricity were among the biggest losers in the trades. The gain and loss percentages ranged between 2.25% and 5.62% in the Saudi stock market transactions.

Moreover, the Parallel Market Trading Index (Nomu) closed today down about 190.29 points, reaching 30,864.09 points. The trading volume was 62.9 million Saudi riyals, and the trading volume of shares in the parallel stock market was around 3.8 million shares, executed through 5,171 transactions.

As for the performance of companies in the Saudi stock indices today, the main TASI index saw shares of 137 companies rise at the close, while shares of 94 companies declined. At the same time, the Saudi Parallel Market Index saw shares of 36 companies increase and shares of 43 companies decrease during the transactions, up until the close of the session.
