The American company Tesla records an annual decline in deliveries for the first time!
In its annual report, Tesla Motors announced a decline in its annual deliveries for the first time, as the company recorded deliveries of 1,789,226 vehicles in 2024, representing a slight decrease compared to the previous year when it delivered 1.81 million vehicles in 2023. This decline reflects challenges Tesla may face in maintaining a high growth rate amid increasing competition in the electric vehicle market.
Regarding the fourth quarter of 2024, data also showed a decrease of 1.8% in Tesla's deliveries compared to the same period last year. Deliveries in the last quarter of this year reached 495,570 vehicles, while it recorded 484,507 vehicles in the fourth quarter of 2023. This decline in deliveries raises questions about the company's ability to stabilize its performance amid volatile global economic conditions.
On the other hand, Tesla revealed its total production in the fourth quarter of 2024, which reached 459,445 vehicles, reflecting the challenges the company faces in balancing production and deliveries recently. The company's total annual production in 2024 was approximately 1,773,443 vehicles.
