US stocks rise after the market opens.
The American stock market began trading on Tuesday with mixed movements across all major indices, with the performance of the US stock indices after the opening as follows:
- The S&P 500 index stabilized near the level of 5,918.35 points, with an increase of about 0.19%.
- The Nasdaq Composite index rose by approximately 0.07% to record a level of 19,500.91 points.
- The Dow Jones Industrial Average recorded a decrease to 42,723.98 points, having increased by about 150 points after the market opened.
