U.S. stock index futures rise ahead of the opening.
Futures contracts for U.S. stock indices recorded a strong increase during trading prior to the opening session on Tuesday, amid largely quiet trading due to holidays in Germany, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia. The following levels were recorded for the futures indices – March delivery:
- Dow Jones Industrial Average futures contracts rose by about 107 points, reaching 43,034.00 points.
- Nasdaq 100 futures contracts increased by 0.39%, to 21,504.00 points.
- S&P 500 futures contracts rose by approximately 0.33%, reaching 5,978.50 points.
