Saudi stocks deepen their losses at the end of the week, closing with weekly losses.
The index of the Saudi stock market closed its trading on Thursday with a decline, as the general index (TASI) ended the session down by about 32.85 points to the level of 11,859.47 points, causing the index to incur weekly losses for the second consecutive week, amounting to 32.97 points. The trading volume today was about 457.5 million shares, valued at approximately 1.3 billion Saudi riyals, conducted through 375.5 thousand transactions.
Regarding the trading of Saudi stocks today, shares of companies such as Rasaan, Medgulf Insurance, Zaza, United International Holdings, and Dhahab were the highest risers during the transactions, while shares of companies such as Research and Media, Al-Baha, Red Sea, Astra Industrial, and Sadeq were the biggest decliners in the trades. The percentages of increase and decrease ranged between 3.16% and 7.58% in the Saudi stock market transactions.
Also, the index of trading shares of the Saudi parallel market (Nomu-Parallel Market) closed today's transactions down by approximately 120.35 points at the level of 30,886.71 points, with a trading volume of 50.5 million Saudi riyals. The trading volume of shares within the Saudi parallel market was about 3.6 million shares, carried out through 4,090 transactions.
As for the performance of companies in the two Saudi stock indices today, the main TASI index witnessed an increase of 78 companies at the close, while shares of 143 companies declined. At the same time, the Saudi parallel market index recorded an increase in the shares of 37 companies and a decline in the shares of 38 companies during the transactions and until the close of the session.
