Toyota's global sales increase by 1.7% in November.
The world's leading car manufacturer by sales volume, Toyota Motor Corporation, announced in a press release on its website on Wednesday that its global sales have increased by 1.7% in November compared to the same month last year.
According to the statement, Toyota Motors sold 920,569 vehicles in November, bringing its total sales from the beginning of this year until the end of November to 9,253,910 vehicles, representing a year-on-year decrease of 1.2% compared to the same period last year.
At the same time, Toyota's market share in Japan decreased by 6.6% year-on-year in November, as the company sold 130,461 vehicles in Japan during the month, while sales outside Japan rose by 3.2%, totaling 790,108 vehicles.
On the other hand, Toyota's production volume from all its factories worldwide in November decreased by 6.2% year-on-year, recording 869,230 vehicles, marking the tenth consecutive month of decline in Toyota's global production on a year-on-year basis.
