The Saudi stock market index closed lower on Thursday, with the general index (TASI) ending the session down by approximately 68.61 points, reaching 11,892.44 points. TASI also incurred weekly losses amounting to 206.89 points. Today's trading volume was about 476.8 million shares, valued at around 10.9 billion Saudi Riyals, executed through 491,400 transactions. Regarding the trading performance of Saudi stocks today, shares of Savola Group, Misk, Cenomi Centers, Bawan, and Al-Baha were the top gainers during the trades, while shares of Al-Fatih Group, Arab Company, Aayan, Ridan, and Eastern Pipes were the most declining. The rates of increase and decrease ranged between 9.97% and 3.30% in the Saudi stock market. Additionally, the index for the Saudi parallel market (Nomu-Parallel Market) closed today up by approximately 247.96 points at 31,444.21 points. The trading volume amounted to 54.2 million Saudi Riyals, with about 4.7 million shares traded in the parallel market through 6,489 transactions. As for the performance of companies in the Saudi stock indices today, the main TASI index witnessed the rise of 51 companies at the close, while shares of 185 companies declined. Simultaneously, the Saudi parallel market index saw an increase in the shares of 33 companies and a decrease in the shares of 49 companies during the trading session and until the market closed.
