The Saudi Stock Market index closed on Wednesday with some marginal gains, as the general index (TASI) ended the session up by approximately 12.33 points to reach 11,961.05 points. The trading volume today was about 358.5 million shares, valued at around 4.6 billion Saudi Riyals, executed through 403,400 transactions.
Regarding the trading of Saudi stocks today, shares of Savola Group, United International Holding, Batic, Gulf Training, and Fawaz Al-Hokair Group were the most prominent gainers during the transactions, while shares of Red Sea, Jahez, Al-Zamil Industrial, Sumo, and Al-Baha were the most notable losers. The percentage of increase and decrease ranged between 9.98% and 3.12% in the Saudi stock market.
Additionally, the parallel stock market index (Nomu - Maximum) closed today's transactions up by about 95.94 points at 31,196.25 points, with a trading volume of 58.1 million Saudi Riyals. The trading volume of shares within the parallel stock market was around 4.4 million shares, completed through 6,569 transactions.
As for the performance of companies in the Saudi stock indices today, the main TASI index recorded an increase of 117 companies at the close, while shares of 106 companies declined. At the same time, the parallel market index experienced an increase in the shares of 47 companies and a decrease in the shares of 39 companies during the transactions, up to the closing of the session.
