Most European indices end market trading with significant losses.
All European stock indices, except for the French CAC, suffered significant losses at the close of trading on Tuesday, following a decline in the business climate index in Germany, which weakened market sentiment.
At the close of today’s session, the European stock index Euro Stoxx 600 recorded a loss of approximately 0.42%, closing at 513.66 points. Below, we take a look at the performance of European stock indices at the end of the session:
- The German DAX index fell by 0.33%, reaching 20,246.37 points.
- Meanwhile, the French CAC 40 index rose to 7,365.70 points, increasing by about 0.12%.
- The British FTSE 100 index remained near 8,195.20 points, declining by approximately 0.81%.
- The Italian FTSE MIB index recorded 34,315.24 points, losing 425.01 points.
- The Spanish Ibex index decreased by 1.62% to close trading at 11,588.10 points.
