The Saudi stock market rebounds from its lowest level in a week after three sessions of losses.
The Saudi Stock Market Index closed its trading session on Monday, achieving some gains, with the main index (TASI) ending the session up about 37.20 points at 12,096.73 points, rebounding from its lowest levels in a week after a series of losses that lasted for three consecutive sessions. Nevertheless, it was able to achieve a weekly gain of approximately 167.5 points. The trading volume today was around 320.3 million shares, valued at about 4.8 billion Saudi Riyals, executed through 431.9 thousand transactions.
Regarding the trading of Saudi stocks today, shares of companies such as SEDCO, Riyadh Cables, Al-Faqih Medical Company, Batic, and Emaar experienced the most significant increases during the trades, while shares of companies like Chemanol, Astra Industrial, Riyadah, Gulf General, and Budget Saudi Arabia saw the most declines. The rates of increase and decrease ranged between 4.27% and 2.98% in the trading of the Saudi stock market.
Additionally, the index for the parallel stock market (Nomu-Parallel Market) closed today’s trading session down about 28.63 points at 31,144.44 points, with a trading volume of 81 million Saudi Riyals. The trading volume of shares in the parallel stock market was around 7.5 million shares executed through 8,031 transactions.
As for the performance of companies in the two Saudi stock indices today, the main TASI index saw 71 companies increase their shares at closing, while shares of 154 companies declined. At the same time, the index for the Saudi parallel market recorded increases in shares of 41 companies and declines in shares of 43 companies during the trading session and up to the close of the session.
