Futures contracts for U.S. stock indices rise ahead of the opening of the last session of the week.
U.S. stock index futures rose significantly during pre-market trading on the last session of the week, on Friday, recording the following levels:
- Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average Dow Jones increased by about 0.18%, reaching approximately 44,058.00 points.
- Futures for the Nasdaq Nasdaq 100 recorded an increase of about 0.67% or 144 points, to 21,795.25 points.
- Futures for the S&P 500 S&P 500 increased by about 0.32%, reaching 6,080.25 points.
It is worth noting that U.S. stocks closed yesterday, Thursday, with a collective decline across all major indices, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average losing about 234.44 points, closing at 44,053.00 points.
Additionally, the S&P 500 recorded a level of 6,051.25 points, with a decline of 0.54%, while the Nasdaq Composite fell by 0.68%, recording 21,615.27 points.
