Saudi stocks close with losses but manage to achieve weekly gains.

The Saudi stock market index closed lower on Thursday, with the main index (TASI) ending the session down approximately 49.86 points at 12,099.33 points. However, it managed to achieve a weekly gain of about 167.5 points, and the trading volume today was around 373.9 million shares valued at approximately 4.8 billion Saudi riyals, executed through 420.2 thousand transactions.

Regarding the Saudi stock trades today, shares of companies such as Sumo, Al-Zamel Industry, Al-Baha, Sadafco, and Riyadh Cables were the top gainers during the sessions, while shares of companies such as Mecca, Amak, Al-Etihad, Ma'aden, and MBC Group were the most declining. The rise and fall rates ranged between 9.98% and 2.20% in the trades of the Saudi stock market.

Additionally, the index for the Saudi parallel market (Nomu-Parallel Market) closed today down approximately 178.02 points at 31,100.03 points, with a trading volume of 67 million Saudi riyals. The volume of trading in the parallel market reached about 11.6 million shares, executed through 6,220 transactions.

As for the performance of companies in the Saudi stock indices today, the TASI main index saw 101 companies rising at the close, while shares of 123 companies declined. At the same time, the Saudi Parallel Market index recorded an increase in shares of 50 companies and a decrease in shares of 34 companies during the trades, leading up to the close of the session.
