A collective decline in the futures contracts for U.S. stock indices ahead of the market opening.
U.S. stock index futures fell sharply during pre-market trading on Thursday, recording the following levels:
- Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by about 0.19%, losing approximately 82.00 points, to around 44,140.00 points.
- Futures for the Nasdaq 100 registered a decline of 0.26%, reaching 21,737.75 points.
- Futures for the S&P 500 declined by about 0.17% to reach 6,082.50 points.
It is worth noting that U.S. stocks closed yesterday, Wednesday, with sharp differences among all benchmark indices, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 99 points, closing at 44,148.56 points.
Meanwhile, the S&P 500 recorded a level of 6,084.19 points, with a rise of 0.82%, and the Nasdaq Composite jumped by 1.85%, reaching 21,763.98 points.
