Saudi stocks see their first declines after 6 sessions of gains.

The Saudi Stock Exchange index closed on Wednesday with a decline after six consecutive sessions of gains, as the general index (TASI) ended the session down by about 44.45 points to reach 12,149.19 points. The trading volume today was approximately 620.2 million shares with an estimated value of about 6.1 billion Saudi Riyals, executed through 483.4 thousand transactions.

Regarding the trading of Saudi stocks today, the shares of companies Qoo, Sumo, Dallah Healthcare, Al-Aqar, and Seera were the most active during the trades, while the shares of companies Jahez, Anam Holding, Banan, Al-Zamil Industries, and ACWA Power were the most declining. The rates of increase and decrease ranged between 7.16% and 3.36% in the Saudi Stock Market trades.

Additionally, the Saudi Parallel Market (Nomu) index concluded today’s trades down by about 278.70 points at 31,278.91 points, with trading volume reaching 66.1 million Saudi Riyals. The volume of shares traded within the parallel stock market amounted to around 6.2 million shares, executed through 7,789 transactions.

As for the performance of companies in the two indices of Saudi stocks today, the TASI main index saw 90 companies rise at closing, while the shares of 138 companies declined. At the same time, the index of the Saudi Parallel Market recorded an increase in the shares of 40 companies, and a decrease in the shares of 44 companies during the trades up to the close of the session.
