Saudi stocks continue to rise, and the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closes at its highest level since the beginning of October.
The Saudi stock market index closed on Tuesday with gains for the sixth consecutive session, pushing it to trade at its highest levels since the beginning of October. The general index (TASI) ended the session up by approximately 96.24 points at a level of 12,193.64 points, thus closing at its highest levels since October 1; the first time in over two months. The trading volume today was about 573 million shares valued at around 7 billion Saudi riyals, executed through 550,000 transactions.
Regarding the trading of Saudi stocks today, shares of companies such as Anam Holding, Research and Media, Mecca, Gas, and Exports were the highest gainers during the session, while shares of companies like Banan, Jahez, United International Holding, Salama, and Eastern Pipes were the most declined. The rates of increase and decrease ranged between 9.88% and 3.23% in the Saudi stock market.
Moreover, the trading index for the Saudi parallel market (NOMO) closed today up by approximately 54.76 points at a level of 31,557.61 points. The trading volume reached 73.4 million Saudi riyals, while the volume of stock trading within the parallel Saudi stock market was about 7.1 million shares, executed through 7,812 transactions.
As for the performance of companies in the Saudi stock indices today, the TASI main index witnessed an increase in 110 companies at the close, while 118 companies saw a decline. At the same time, the index for the Saudi parallel market witnessed an increase in 47 companies' shares and a decline in 41 companies' shares during the transactions, until the close of the session.
