U.S. stock index futures dip slightly ahead of the session's opening.
Futures contracts for U.S. stock indices registered a slight decline during pre-opening trading on Monday, the first session of the week, reaching the following levels:
- Futures contracts for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped marginally by about 0.02%, to approximately 44,698.00 points.
- Futures contracts for the Nasdaq 100 fell by about 0.17%, to 21,619.25 points.
- Futures contracts for the S&P 500 declined by around 0.09%, reaching 6,093.25 points.
It is worth noting that U.S. stocks closed last week’s Friday session with a clear divergence across all major indices, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling by 123.19 points, closing at 44,642.52 points.
Meanwhile, the S&P 500 recorded a level of 6,090.27 points, with an increase of 0.25%, and the Nasdaq composite rose by approximately 197.03 points, reaching 21,622.25 points.
