TASI Declines Slightly; Nomu Index Sees Gains in Saudi Stock Market Trading
The Saudi stock market index (TASI) experienced a slight decline at the close of trading on Monday, with the main index falling by approximately 2.39 points to settle at 11,739.35 points. The trading volume reached 5.4 billion riyals, with around 351 million shares exchanged.
In terms of stock performance, shares of Saudi Reinsurance Companies, Chemical Industries, Al-Futaih Group, Electrical Industries, and Tamkeen were among the highest gainers. On the other hand, shares of Sahl, Care, MBC Group, Al-Baha, and Saudi Ceramics faced declines. The rates of increase and decrease ranged from 5.99% to 3.15% during the session.
Meanwhile, the parallel market index (Nomu) saw a positive performance, closing up by 115.94 points, or 0.38%, to reach 30,289.06 points. The trading volume on Nomu was approximately 80 million riyals, with around 6.5 million shares traded during the day.
