National Glass Industries Company (Zoujaj) Announces 9% Cash Dividend

The National Glass Industries Company (Zoujaj) announced on Thursday that its board of directors has approved the distribution of cash dividends to shareholders at a rate of 9% of the nominal value of shares for the second half of 2024.

According to the statement, a total of 29.61 million Saudi Riyals will be distributed to 32.9 million shares eligible for dividends, with each share receiving 0.9 Riyals. The "Entitlement Date" for shareholders has been set for December 15, 2024, while the dividend payments will be made on December 29, 2024.

Additionally, the company stated that cash dividends for foreign non-resident investors, transferred through a resident financial intermediary, will be subject to a 5% withholding tax as per Article (68) of the Income Tax Law and Article (63) of its executive regulations.

In trading activities, the share of National Glass Industries Company (TADAWUL: 2150) dropped by 3.41%, or 1.90 Riyals per share, with the stock currently trading near 53.80 Riyals during Saudi stock market transactions.
