U.S. Stock Indices Exhibit Mixed Performance Ahead of Friday's Opening

The U.S. stock indices showed mixed performance ahead of today's Friday opening, with some indices experiencing slight gains while others declined. In this context, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by approximately 19 points.

On the other hand, the S&P 500 index dropped by about 4 points, while the Nasdaq Composite recorded a notable decrease of around 36 points at the start of the session.

It is noteworthy that U.S. stock indices had risen at the close of trading yesterday, Thursday, after Nvidia, the massive market company, and a group of other companies reported earnings that exceeded expectations.

The S&P 500 Index rose by 0.5% after fluctuating between modest gains and losses several times in the morning, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped by 1.1%. Additionally, the Nasdaq Composite Index increased by less than 0.1% by the end of the session.
