American stocks open today's session with a collective decline.

The performance of American stocks varied significantly at the opening of the session on Tuesday, with the performance of U.S. stock indices as follows:

• The S&P 500 index clearly declined by about 0.47% to reach 5,865.91 points.
• The NASDAQ Composite index dropped by 0.28% or 52.54 points, recording a level of 18,739.27 points.
• The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 320.79 points, or 0.11%, to 43,068.81 points.

It is worth mentioning that American stocks closed the session yesterday, Monday, with a clear disparity among all benchmark indices, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 0.13%, closing at 43,389.60 points.

Meanwhile, the S&P 500 recorded a level of 5,893.62 points, with an increase of 0.39%, and the NASDAQ Composite index rose by about 145.06 points, reaching 20,539.19 points.
