The performance of U.S. stocks varied significantly at the opening of the first session of the week on Monday, where the performance of U.S. stock indices was as follows:

• The S&P 500 index recorded a marginal decline of about 0.04% to reach 5,868.08 points.
• The Nasdaq Composite index rose by about 0.12%, recording a level of 18,701.99 points.
• The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 93.38 points, or 0.11%, to 43,351.61 points.

It is worth noting that U.S. stocks closed last Friday's session with a strong decline across all major indices, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 305.87 points, closing at 43,444.99 points.

Additionally, the S&P 500 index recorded a level of 5,870.62 points, with a decline of 1.32%, while the Nasdaq Composite index fell by 2.40%, recording 20,394.13 points.
