Limited rise in futures contracts for US stock indices ahead of the market opening.
U.S. stock index futures recorded limited gains during pre-opening trading on Thursday, as market participants awaited the release of the previous week's U.S. unemployment claims data and the U.S. producer prices for October.
The futures for the benchmark indices recorded the following levels before the opening:
- The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures settled up by about 0.10% at approximately 44,151.00 points.
- The Nasdaq 100 futures rose marginally by 6 points, reaching 21,165.50 points.
- The S&P 500 futures increased by about 0.07% to 6,020.50 points.
It is worth noting that U.S. stocks closed yesterday's session on Wednesday down for all benchmark indices, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 47.21 points, closing at 43,958.19 points.
Meanwhile, the S&P 500 remained at its previous closing level of 5,985.38 points, while the Nasdaq Composite decreased by 0.26%, recording 19,230.73 points.
