Saudi stocks close with losses, registering the lowest level in a week.
The Saudi Stock Market Index closed lower at the end of trading on Tuesday, marking the third consecutive session of decline. The main index (TASI) finished the session down by approximately 58.74 points at a level of 12,047.67 points, the lowest closing level recorded since November 5, which was a week ago. The trading volume today was around 1.03 billion shares, valued at approximately 5.8 billion Saudi Riyals, executed through 463.9 thousand transactions.
As for the trading of Saudi stocks today, shares of companies such as Al Jouf Cement, Malath Insurance, Elm, Mawana, and Saudi Cables were the most active gainers during the transactions, while shares of companies such as Cinemacity Retail, Rasen, Red Sea, Burgerizer, and Americana were the most active decliners. The percentage of increases and decreases ranged between 3.45% and 4.75% in the Saudi stock market transactions.
Additionally, the Parallel Stock Market Index (Nomu-Parallel Market) closed today’s trading down by approximately 50.56 points to a level of 29,110.41 points, with a trading volume of 90.9 million Saudi Riyals. The trading volume of shares within the Saudi parallel stock market was about 8.6 million shares, executed through 6,440 transactions.
Regarding the performance of companies in the Saudi stock indices today, the TASI index observed an increase in the shares of 70 companies at the close, while the shares of 152 companies declined. At the same time, the parallel market index saw an increase in the shares of 39 companies and a decrease in the shares of 33 companies during the transactions, up until the close of the session.
