Futures contracts for U.S. stock indices showed significant increases during pre-opening trades on Monday, with the futures contracts for the benchmark indices recording the following levels before the opening:
- Futures contracts for the Dow Jones Industrial Average Dow Jones jumped to a historic peak at approximately 44,346.00 points, increasing by 205.00 points.
- Futures for the Nasdaq Nasdaq 100 rose by about 100 points, reaching 21,331.25 points.
- Futures contracts for the Standard & Poor's S&P 500 increased by approximately 0.44% to reach 6,051.75 points.
It is worth noting that U.S. stocks closed last Friday's session with gains across all benchmark indices, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.59%, closing at 43,988.99 points.
