U.S. stock index futures record limited gains ahead of the opening.
Futures contracts for U.S. stock indices recorded limited increases during pre-opening trading for the first sessions of the week on Monday, as anticipation builds for the U.S. presidential elections tomorrow, Tuesday.
Futures contracts for the key indices recorded the following levels before the opening:
- Dow Jones Industrial Average Futures contracts registered a level of approximately 42,234.00 points, with a limited increase of about 0.06%.
- Nasdaq 100 Futures increased slightly by 0.08% to a level of 20,170.25 points.
- S&P 500 Futures recorded an increase of around 0.14% to reach 5,766.50 points.
It is worth noting that U.S. stocks closed last week's sessions with strong gains across all benchmark indices, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped by 288.73 points, closing at 42,052.19 points.
Additionally, the S&P 500 recorded a level of 5,728.80 points, with an increase of 0.41%, while the Nasdaq Composite rose by 0.72%, reaching 20,033.14 points.
