The general index (TASI) ended the session down by approximately 43.28 points, reaching the level of 12,018.81 points. The trading volume today was around 1.3 billion shares, valued at about 5.6 billion Saudi Riyals, completed through 439,800 transactions.
Regarding the trading of Saudi stocks today, shares of companies such as Othaim Telecom, Red Sea, MBC Group, Amiantit, and Al-Majid for Oud were the highest gainers during the transactions. In contrast, shares of companies such as Exports, Al-Nahdi, Al-Baha, Lujain for Sports, and the Fourth Mills were the most declining. The percentages of increase and decrease ranged between 6.18% and 3.85% in the Saudi stock market transactions.
Additionally, the index of the Saudi parallel market (Nomu) closed today's trading down by about 179.60 points, reaching the level of 26,623.10 points, with a trading volume of up to 43.2 million Saudi Riyals. The trading volume of shares in the parallel stock market was approximately 3.2 million shares, completed through 4,479 transactions.
As for the performance of companies within the Saudi stock indices today, TASI saw an increase in shares of 92 companies at the close, while shares of 129 companies declined. At the same time, the index of the Saudi parallel market recorded an increase in shares of 39 companies and a decrease in shares of 36 companies during the transactions, up until the market closed.
