Saudi stocks closed higher but failed to recover last week's losses.

The Saudi stock market index (TASI) closed its last session of the week on Thursday with gains, ending the session up by approximately 66.89 points, reaching a level of 11,994.22 points. The index concluded the entire week with limited gains of 36.68 points, failing to recover from its sharp losses from the previous week, which amounted to 546.9 points. The volume of trades today reached around 628.2 million shares, valued at approximately 5.9 billion Saudi riyals, conducted through about 481.7 thousand transactions.

Regarding today's trading of Saudi stocks, the companies Al-Bahr, Al-Aseel, Al-Bahah, Al-Ittihad, and Al-Hokair Group were the top gainers during the session, while shares of Harfi Foods, Sedco Capital REIT, Yamama Cement, Arabian Mills, and ACWA Power were the most declining. The rates of increase and decrease ranged between 9.90% and 1.92% in the Saudi market.

Meanwhile, the index for the Saudi parallel market (Nomu-Parallel Market) closed today down by about 90.21 points, reaching a level of 24,453.14 points, with a trading volume of 45.2 million Saudi riyals. The volume of shares traded in the parallel stock market reached around 3 million shares, through 3,692 transactions.

As for the performance of companies in both Saudi stock indices today, the main TASI index witnessed an increase in the shares of 185 companies at the close, while shares of 39 companies declined. Simultaneously, the index for the Saudi parallel market saw an increase in shares of 36 companies and a decrease in shares of 31 companies during the trading session, up until the close.
