Saudi stocks close higher.. and Tasi at its highest levels in over a month

The Saudi stock market index (TASI) closed trading on Tuesday with a significant increase, ending the session up by about 138.80 points, reaching a level of 12,268.42 points, the highest level the index has reached since August 26. The trading volume for the day was around 418 million shares worth approximately 7.5 billion Saudi Riyals, done through about 598 thousand transactions.

As for the trading of Saudi stocks today, shares of Red Sea, Fish, Aqua Power, Saudi Kayan, and Ma'aden were the most traded, while shares of Maharah, RTA, Dar Al Arkan, Extra, and Al-Munajem were the most declined. The percentage of increase and decrease ranged between 9.95% and 2.11% in the Saudi market.

Meanwhile, the parallel market index (Nomu Parallel Market Index) closed trading today lower by about 62.60 points to reach a level of 25,684.37 points, with a trading volume of 66.3 million Saudi Riyals. The trading volume of stocks within the parallel Saudi stock market reached around 4.1 million shares, done through 4,923 transactions.

Regarding the performance of companies in the Saudi stock market indices today, the main TASI index saw an increase in the shares of 117 companies at the close, while the shares of 100 companies declined. At the same time, the parallel Saudi stock market index saw an increase in the shares of 27 companies and a decrease in the shares of 40 companies during trading until the session closure.
