Breaking news.. New home sales in the United States grow less than expected in November.

Data on new home sales in the United States, released by the U.S. Census Bureau on Monday, showed that new home sales for the month of November were slightly lower than expected. New home sales increased by about 5.9% in November compared to the previous month, following a decline of 14.8% in October.

According to the data, new home sales in November reached 664,000 homes, which is below market expectations that anticipated about 666,000 homes. New home sales in October were revised to 627,000 homes from 610,000 homes.

It is worth noting that new home sales measure the month-to-month change in the number of newly sold homes from previous months, and serve as a leading indicator of economic health. New home sales have significant impacts on the economy; for instance, furniture and appliances are purchased, mortgage loans are provided by lending banks, and commissions are paid to brokers for closing these home deals.
