Ethereum ETFs Witness Largest Outflows Since July
Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded significant outflows on January 8, 2025, totaling $159.3 million—the largest since July 26, 2024, when outflows reached $162 million.
The Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE) reported net outflows of $8.2568 million, pushing its historical total outflows to $3.685 billion. Similarly, the Ethereum ETF (ETH) saw net outflows of $3.4044 million, though its historical net inflows remain at $592 million.
In contrast, funds such as ETHA, ETHW, CETH, ETHV, QETH, and EZET reported no changes in inflows, highlighting a concentration of sell-offs in specific ETFs.
These significant withdrawals may reflect growing bearish sentiment among institutional investors toward Ethereum’s short-term prospects, raising concerns about the broader market outlook.
