Arthur Hayes, co-founder of the BitMEX platform, predicts that Bitcoin will witness a new rise in late Q1 2025, given the expected changes in monetary policy from the U.S. Federal Reserve.

In his article published on January 7, Hayes noted that the Federal Reserve is facing challenges in maintaining market stability while withdrawing $180 billion in liquidity during the first quarter of this year. However, he pointed out that the reverse repurchase program will add about $237 billion in liquidity to the markets, and this liquidity will inject a net $57 billion into the financial markets, providing strong support for riskier assets such as Bitcoin.

In light of these developments, the co-founder of BitMEX expects Bitcoin to peak between mid to late March 2025, similar to the rise it experienced in March 2024, when its value exceeded $73,000.

In this context, Hayes emphasized that the Federal Reserve may have to use additional tools to face economic challenges, primarily returning to quantitative easing, which could enhance the future performance of Bitcoin and other assets.
