FTX platform files a lawsuit against Binance to recover $1.8 billion.
News reports mentioned on Monday that the FTX platform has filed a lawsuit against the famous cryptocurrency exchange Binance and its former CEO, Changpeng Zhao, in an attempt to recover about $1.8 billion.
The lawsuit includes allegations against the former CEO of Binance for allegedly posting "misleading and false" tweets shortly before the FTX collapse.
FTX claims that these statements were orchestrated with careful planning and with "malicious intent" to damage FTX's reputation and negatively impact its business.
For its part, Binance denied these allegations, asserting that they are "baseless," and indicating that it will strongly defend its position against these accusations.
