Robinhood officially launches margin trading service in the UK.

The famous cryptocurrency exchange Robinhood Markets Inc announced on Monday the launch of its "margin investing" service in the United Kingdom, with some of the most competitive prices in the crypto industry starting today.

Jordan Sinclair, the head of Robinhood in the UK, stated in a press release that the digital exchange is providing customers in the country with greater flexibility and tools to enhance their investment strategies by launching the margin investing service.

Jordan also added that by borrowing funds from Robinhood, customers of the digital exchange can leverage their existing holdings to purchase additional securities; the company states that this will allow its clients to enhance their purchasing power by using the value of the assets in their investment accounts as collateral.

Earlier this month, it was reported that the Robinhood platform launched operations to support the transition of cryptocurrencies in the European continent.
