Metaplante Company acquires approximately 107 new Bitcoins!

Tokyo-listed investment company (Metaplanet) announced on Tuesday that it has acquired approximately 107.91 Bitcoins, valued at up to 1 billion yen (about 7 million dollars). This acquisition follows the Japanese company's previous purchase of Bitcoin worth around 300 million yen last month.

Metaplanet clarified that the latest Bitcoin purchase raises the company's total holdings to approximately 506 Bitcoins (equivalent to about 32 million dollars) at current Bitcoin prices.

It is worth noting that since revealing its Bitcoin strategy, there has not been a month without Metaplanet acquiring more cryptocurrencies, regardless of the recent downturn in the Bitcoin market, as the company believes that its strategy will provide local investors with exposure and help them benefit from favorable tax treatment.
