Novak: Russia is ready to supply gas to Europe through several different routes.
During his talk on Wednesday morning, Russian Deputy Prime Minister and former Energy Minister Alexander Novak confirmed that Russia is prepared to resume gas supplies to Europe through several different routes.
Novak added that Russia has continuously affirmed its readiness to resume Russian gas imports back to Europe, and not just through the current pipeline.
The Russian Deputy Prime Minister mentioned that there are a number of other ways through which Russia could accomplish this, but he added that it depends on the agreements that European countries make with Ukraine.
Novak pointed out that even with the resumption of Russian gas supplies to Europe, the state of gas reserves on the continent will remain extremely tense, facing other risks.
However, Novak warned that if gas flows from Russia to Europe were to completely stop, the situation would become more difficult for Europeans.
